New Patients

New Patients Welcome to our pediatric practice, and thank you for selecting us to care for your child/children.

Newborns: A good infant car seat is essential for your first ride home. Please read manufacturer's directions. You will also be receiving advice from friends and relatives. They are well meaning. They are all telling you what works for them. Look at all this advice as options. Use your common sense and trust your instincts to do the right thing.

First routine office visit is at 5 days old. Call as soon as possible for your appointment. You should also call your insurance company to inform them of the baby's birth and to advise them to add the baby onto your policy. Only the subscriber is permitted to do this.

Older Children that Transfer to Us: Almost all of our new patients come from word-of-mouth from families in our practice. The greatest compliment you could ever give us is to recommend our practice to your friends and neighbors. We’ll continue to work hard to keep your trust, and to help your children stay happy, healthy, and safe!

Please call our office to register your child. We request their previous records with immunizations at least one week prior to any well appointments.

At North Willow Grove Pediatrics, we expect all of our patients to receive their recommended vaccines on time, following the immunization schedule recommended by the CDC. For children who for medical reasons cannot do this, we will of course accommodate whatever vaccines are recommended for your individual circumstance. If your child has fallen behind on immunizations, we will be happy to work with you to come up with a schedule to get your child caught up.

We encourage families to seek out reliable, honest, and science-based information on vaccines. For families who’ve decided against vaccinations, we urge you to reconsider. Vaccine-preventable diseases are surging because of these unfounded fears, and you’re putting your children, your children’s friends, and the other children at our practice at risk. This is not a path we can agree on.

Our physicians are on call 24 hours a day. We ask that you call for routine questions during routine office hours. We have early morning hours for sick children during the week. Please call the office and a trained professional will make an appointment for your child, or take a message for our staff to return your call. After hours, patients who call the office will automatically be transferred to a Certified Nurse for telephone advice and service.
